J’Accuse: Film & Talk Back

Please join us for this important event focusing on remembering the Lithuanian Jews murdered during the Shoah, learning more about the lives and resilience of Holocaust survivors from Vilkija and Vilna, and the dangers of Holocaust distortion & denial.

After the film, there will be a talkback panel moderated by Dr. Michael Hayse, Wally and Lutz Hammerschlag Professor of Holocaust Studies at Stockton University and Director of the Holocaust Survivors of South Jersey Project. The panel will feature Holocaust survivor Daniel Kochavi, a retired chemist, who was a hidden child in Paris during the German occupation. Daniel’s mother, Judith (Grossman) Kochavi grew up in the Lithuanian village of Vilkija. Leo Schoffer, Esq., will also serve on the panel. Mr. Schoffer is the son of Holocaust survivors from Vilna, Poland (now Lithuania), Sara (Rubanovicz) and Sam Schoffer.
