David’s story revolves around the time in his life when he became a soldier in the IDF, the Israel Defense Forces. When his unit was called to duty during the Second Lebanon War in 2006, he almost lost his life in the crosshairs of Hezbollah. That moment was a huge wake-up call for David and led him on a path very different than the one he had taken before.
David speaks about the true meaning of roots, of family, community and Israel. One cannot help but be moved by his dedication to this incredible land and the remarkable experiences helped him become the motivated advocate for Israel that he is today.
