Please join us for a lecture with
Dr. Alex Kor as he chronicles the
incredible strength, perseverance,
and forgiveness by both of his parents, Holocaust survivors Eva Mozes
and Michael Kor. This lecture will feature the USC Shoah Foundation’s
Dimensions in Testimony Interactive Biography of Eva Kor.
Originally from Terre Haute, Indiana, Dr. Alex Kor received his D.P.M. (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine)
from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He is a member of the CANDLES
Holocaust Museum and Education Center Board of Directors and assisted in establishing an
exhibit, Eva Kor from Auschwitz to Indiana, to honor his mother in downtown Indianapolis at the
Indiana Historical Society. His new book, A Blessing, Not a Burden, which chronicles his parents’
lives as well as how they positively impacted Dr. Kor, is now available.
