Jewish Community Center: Mitzvah Stitchers Open House

The Mitzvah Stitchers, a community-driven crochet club dedicated to providing comfort through handmade blankets, will host an Open House on Tuesday, May 6, from 1 to 4 pm. in the auditorium at the Marjorie & Lewis Katz JCC.   The free event is open to the public, and all skill levels are welcome.

Since its inception in September 2023, the Mitzvah Stitchers have created more than one hundred blankets for patients in need. The group donates to the oncology unit at Shore Memorial Hospital and the neonatal pediatric unit at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, N.J. Their mission is to provide warmth and support during medical treatments while reminding recipients that they are cared for by the community.
